How was everyone's Thanksgiving? For those of you that live in America that celebrate it, I know some of you either aren't American or don't celebrate it... Anyways! I'm in a good mood. So, for Thanksgiving, cos my mom had to work, I made 2 pumpkin pies the night before, and last night, to my surprise, my mom told me the pies I made were just as good as any she made. Now, since my mom is really good at baking, that is a very nice compliment. This is the first compliment I've ever gotten from my MOM about my cooking. I know I've just started learning how to cook, but a compliment every once in awhile is most appreciated, y'know?

in my English 4 class (also known as British Literature, which I DIDN'T know until I took the class XD) we're doing a research paper about, well, just about anything/anyone from the United Kingdom. Out of the topics we were given, I picked The Wars of the Roses because I heard of it a lot but didn't really know much about it. I'm still not very far in the book I'm reading (nor have I started the notecards which I have to write one thing of info on each for, due on Tuesday XD typical procrastinating me). We also didn't have to do the topics we were given on the paper, because we could just pick anything, really.
